Calling all Upper East Siders! Brooklynite Zoë was romantically linked to Penn Badgley in 2011, when he was filming Gossip Girl in NYC. They reportedly lived together, and when Penn took on the role of late musician Jeff Buckley for his movie, Greetings From Tim Buckley, in 2013, he admitted, “At that time, I was falling madly in love in a way that was changing me and opening me up.”

He went on to add, “And being in love, real, true, earth-shattering love—even though it sounds hyperbolic, I really was going through it—helped me be as good as I could be [in the role].”

However, after two years together, sources told Us Weekly that they called it quits because they were “at two different stages in their careers” and “just didn’t have time for each other.”

A second source weighed in and revealed that it “wasn’t a sad breakup” since they ended on “good terms.”

In May 2015, Zoë joined Dominican American musician Twin Shadow—aka George Lewis Jr.—to perform a cover of Sade’s “No Ordinary Love” on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

They toured together that same year, and George even gushed about Zoë and her “big heart” during her NYLON cover story, saying, “Zoë really is so down-to-earth. She surprises you with how natural she is.”

While the nature of their relationship was never confirmed, they were rumored to be dating as they continued to attend and pose with each other at public events, from ELLE’s Women in Hollywood party to the InStyle Awards. The timeline of their rumored romance remains unclear, but in 2016, she moved on to…

Zoë started romancing The Neon Demon actor, Karl Glusman, in 2016. A few years into their romance, Zoë told British Vogue that she met Karl through friends at a bar, saying, “I love that it wasn’t on an app and that it wasn’t on a movie set.”

She added, “My friend knew that I wanted to meet someone—not even to get serious, I think just to get laid, to be completely honest with you—and he brought Karl. I instantly felt something, then he turned around and started talking to the blonde girl next to him, and I was like, ‘Wait, what?’ But he later told me that he was just nervous.”

In a separate interview with Rolling Stone in 2018, the High Fidelity star revealed that she and Karl got engaged when they were “a little drunk” in the comfort of their home as he played Nina Simone. “He nailed it,” she gushed at the time. “And I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants.”

Though they didn’t get engaged in Paris, they went on to tie the knot at Lenny Kravitz’s townhouse in the City of Lights in June 2019. She filed for divorce by December 2020, and nearly two years later, she told GQ, “You meet someone who’s amazing and wants to marry you, and there’s nothing wrong with that. If there’s nothing wrong, then why wouldn’t you do it?”

She continued, “You love them and that’s what you do. It’s a hard question to ask yourself, Maybe I don’t want the thing that I’m supposed to want, a marriage, children, any of it. I don’t know if I want that at all. That’s an uncomfortable question, especially for a woman to ask herself.”

That brings us to Zoë’s romance with Channing Tatum. The pair sparked romance rumors in August 2021 when she was spotted riding on the back of his bike through NYC. The following month, they attended the Met Gala separately but met on the steps to enjoy the famous fashion event together.

Channing even admitted to following a bunch of Zoë fan accounts when they were together. “I have no chill,” he said during an interview with Vanity Fair in 2023. “I was just seeing what she was up to! Also, I didn’t know anyone would know.

If that’s not real love, I don’t know what is!

They’d go on to get engaged after two years of dating in October 2023. According to Grazia, Zoë was spotted with a sparkling ring on that finger when she attended Kendall Jenner’s Halloween party with Channing dressed as Rosemary’s Baby.

Fun fact: Zoë and Channing actually started dating after working together in her directorial debut, Blink Twice, and would go on to attend multiple premieres and photo calls for the film.

But they would call off their engagement a year after news broke of his proposal in October 2024. At the time, a source told Page Six that there was “no bad blood” between the former fiancés, saying, “There was no dramatic falling out between Channing and Zoë. They really just grew apart and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways.”

Zoë and Harry are the human embodiment of “I love when two sexy people get together.” The pair first sparked dating rumors when a tipster told DeuxMoi that they were “making out” at Rita’s after the London premiere of Zoë’s movie Caught Stealing in August 2025.

Oh, and rumors only intensified when they were spotted walking through Rome together days later:

Though the couple is notoriously private, several sources would go on to tell outlets like Page Six and the Daily Mail that they were getting more serious and introducing each other to their inner circles—including Zoë’s famous dad, Lenny Kravitz.

By January 2026, Page Six reported that Zoë had been telling friends that Harry is “her soulmate.” When he released his highly anticipated album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally in March, Harry shared that he was ready to settle down and have kids.

During an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Harry admitted he was inspired to pen his track “American Girls” after watching his “three closest friends get married.”

“Actually seeing them trust…and risk something to find something truly fulfilling in a way that isn’t as shiny and, on paper, as exciting as watching them get married… I was like, I’m single, so I’m having all the fun, and ‘American Girls’ is actually about watching them get married, and there just is a magic when you find the right person that you want to be with,” he said.

Apparently, that magic was found in April, as Zoë was spotted wearing a massive rock on that finger while strolling through London with Harry, per photos published by The Sun. According to People, the couple is officially engaged and has only been sharing the news with “a small circle” of friends.
